Not because they lack care or integrity, but because ministry is complex. Giving fluctuates. Funds are designated. Staff wear multiple hats. And often, the financial systems meant to support the work become a source of stress instead.
We saw the need for something different.

Meet Lauren Geiger
Founder & Lead Bookkeeper
Lauren founded Geiger Bookkeeping in 2022 after a long career in nonprofit administration and bookkeeping. She loves bringing order to complex processes and translating numbers into information that helps leaders gain clarity and confidence around their finances.
A graduate of the College of William and Mary, Lauren brings both technical expertise and a firsthand understanding of ministry life to her work. As the wife of a lead pastor, she understands the rhythms and pressures of ministry from the inside out. She knows that church and nonprofit leaders wear many hats, and believes bookkeeping should be a source of support—not additional stress.
Lauren lives in Central Florida with her husband, Pete, and their four children. A lifelong reader and history enthusiast, she enjoys genealogy, historical fiction, and spending time with her family.
