A wooden desk with an open notebook, a pen, a laptop, a coffee mug, a small vase of flowers, and a microphone placed on a cutting board, with a background of large windows and blurred outdoor scenery.

We believe that bookkeeping is not just a back-office function.

It’s a critical tool for wise leadership.

Geiger Bookkeeping was built out of a simple observation: many churches are doing meaningful, important work—while quietly struggling with the financial side of it.

Not because they lack care or integrity, but because ministry is complex. Giving fluctuates. Funds are designated. Staff wear multiple hats. And often, the financial systems meant to support the work become a source of stress instead.

We saw the need for something different.

A bookkeeping partner who understands how churches actually operate. Someone who can bring order to the details, consistency to the process, and clarity to the numbers—without adding more to an already full plate.

Today, Geiger Bookkeeping serves churches and ministries across the country, helping them move from uncertainty to confidence in their financial systems.

Our work is steady, thoughtful, and behind the scenes—but its impact is felt in leadership meetings, board decisions, and day-to-day ministry.

We believe that when finances are clear and reliable, leaders are freed to focus on what matters most: serving people, stewarding resources well, and moving their mission forward.

Meet Lauren Geiger

Founder & CEO

As the wife of a lead pastor, Lauren understands church ministry from the inside out. She has seen firsthand the many responsibilities pastors carry and believes churches deserve financial systems that are reliable, efficient, and built to support their ministry.

After years of working in nonprofit administration and bookkeeping, Lauren founded Geiger Bookkeeping in 2022 to help churches build streamlined accounting processes, gain meaningful insight from their numbers, and confidently steward the resources God has entrusted to them.

A graduate of the College of William & Mary, Lauren lives in Central Florida with her husband, Pete, and their four children. When she’s not generating reports, you can usually find her driving her minivan, returning library books, or greeting at the church welcome desk.
